What’s the most surprising thing an inspection has ever found on a car you were about to buy?
I’m curious to hear some horror or surprise stories from people who’ve done pre-purchase inspections. I’m currently looking at a 2017 Range Rover Sport and I’ve booked an inspection from a company that offers Veteran Pre-Purchase Inspection Dubai. The car looks amazing but I’ve heard these can have air suspension and cooling system issues. I want to go in with my eyes open. For those of you who’ve had inspections done, what’s the most unexpected or shocking thing the inspector found? I’ve heard stories about frames being full of body filler, engines with stop leak in the coolant, transmissions filled with the wrong fluid, and even a car that had a different engine than the VIN said. Did the inspection save you from buying a disaster? Or did you go ahead with the purchase anyway and regret it? I’m hoping that hearing some real experiences will help me decide whether to walk away if the report comes back with issues. I really want this Range Rover but I’m trying to be smart. Thanks for sharing.
